    Greensboro Community Leaders

Helping the community with students helps me open up my eyes more on the community. We all have one thing in common. Coming together to serve as one.

fully expect going into it. At first, I was just excited to be involved and to support something bigger than myself, but as the day went on, I realized how much I was actually gaining from it too. It was my first time really learning about the company we were working with, and I found it so interesting to understand their mission, what they stand for, and how they actively contribute to the community. Seeing that behind-the-scenes perspective made the experience feel more purposeful, like I wasn’t just showing up—I was part of something that truly mattered.

What stood out to me the most was the feeling of giving back. There was something really fulfilling about knowing that even small actions, like volunteering a few hours of my time, could make a difference in someone else’s day. It made me reflect on how important community support is and how powerful it can be when people come together for a common cause. I also loved being surrounded by others from my campus who were just as motivated and positive—it created such a good energy that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
